Fitness Instructor
Ms. Lanier has served as Youth Fitness Instructor and Coach for Stetch-n-Grow in the Hampton Roads, VA/Peninsula area.
Ms. Lanier is focused on providing excellent health by organic and non preservative and vegetarian eating with a healthy workout regimen. Our bodies speak to us, but we must listen and obey so we may have a healthy long life. It is our desire to answer your questions, provide support, and be there to encourage you as you live a healthy lifestyle. Ms. Lanier encourages you to add movement (cardiovascular activity) to your daily schedule. We know that we have busy schedules, but it is important that you find time to take the stairs, park further away from the store, or just walk or run about 30 minutes a day. Be sure to cut out processed foods and sugar and find a way of life and diet that works best for you. It is important to consult your doctor defore making any health decisions.
Health is a dynamic process because it is always changing. We all have times of good health, sickness, and sometimes serious illness. As our lifestyles change, so does our level of health.
Those who participate in regular physical activity do so partly to improve the current and future level of their health. You should strive toward an optimal state of well-being. As your lifestyle improves, your health also improves and you experience less disease and sickness. When most people are asked what it means to be healthy, they normally respond with the four components of fitness mentioned earlier (cardiorespiratory ability, muscular ability, flexibility, and body composition). Although these components are a critical part of being healthy, they are not the only contributing factors. Physical health is only one aspect of our overall health.
Feel free to contact Ms. Lanier for more information about how we are dedicated to making all of us healthier. It is Ms. Lanier's desire to answer your questions, provide support, and be there to encourage you as you live a healthy lifestyle.
